Like Elie Weisel said, the opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. Indifferent to the fate of others is the right word to use to describe at least some of these folks, but not all of them.

Each of these vaccines has now had by far the largest clinical trial in history; now is not the time for the FDA to feign a virginity it lost to Big Pharma decades ago: approve the vaccines! There are literally millions of people who would either get vaccinated of their own free will or be forced to if their employers and others had the legal cover of FDA approval to mandate it.

In the meantime, for sure the unvaccinated should not be allowed to fly in the petri dishes we call commercial airliners any more than someone carrying a loaded gun would be. There's recent research indicating a flight ban would compel more people to get vaccinated than any other measure, it's clearly Constitutional for the administration to do it, and there's not one thing the DeSantis' of the world can do to stop it.
